Postdoc position in synthetic biology available
A postdoctoral position within the EU-funded BACTOCOM consortium (http://www.bactocom.eu) is available
in our group from August, 1st, 2010. The project aims at the implementation of computational functions within
a communicating bacterial population. The successful candidate must have a strong background in biophysics,
biochemistry, or biotechnology. Work in the project will involve molecular cloning techniques, soft lithography
(microfluidics), fluorescence microscopy, image analysis, and computational modeling. Candidates without
solid prior knowledge in at least several of these areas will not be considered.
